Swing State Project is out with its "Cash Power Index" for competitive Senate and House races.  The index is "a metric designed to measure cash-on-hand competitiveness," dividing "a challenger's cash-on-hand by the size of the incumbent's war chest to gauge the financial gap between candidates."  With that, here are the top Virginia Democrats:

1. Mark Warner is #1 among all Democratic challengers, with an eye-popping 4,362% "Cash Power Index" advantage over Jim Gilmore. That's beyond impressive, tending towards "total domination."

2. Judy Feder (VA-10) is the top Virginia Democratic challenger on the House side, ranking #13 overall nationally with a "Cash Power Index" of 96% vis-a-vis Frank Wolf.  Not bad at all, Go Judy!

3. Tom Perriello (VA-05) ranks #23 nationally, at a 62% "Cash Power Index" relative to Virgil "So Bad He's" Goode.  From what I saw yesterday in C-ville, Perriello also is building a powerhouse grassroots movement and ground game.  This should be very interesting, help Tom out if you can!

4. Glenn Nye (VA-02) ranks #25 nationally, with 60% of Thelma "Dick Cheney" Drake's "Cash Power."   I strongly urge everyone to help Glenn close this gap. If he does, he can send Thelma Drake packing.

Note: Keith Fimian has more money than Gerry Connolly right now, but I agree with Chris Cillizza, who ranks VA-11 as the 2nd most likely Democratic House seat pickup possibility in the nation this year. The district's moderate "blue," yet Fimian's apparently running hard right. Duhhhhhhhhhhh.
