This should be interesting:

Hi all,

Are you confused about what the new Prince William County immigration policy is?  Are you dizzy from all the "spinning" by politicians and contradictory reports in the media?

9500Liberty will be holding a community screening of our latest film that documents the truth behind the changes to the Immigration Resolution and clarifies what the existing policy is.   We conducted extensive interviews with county officials to piece together the complex story.

This video is not up on YouTube because it is over an hour long and it deals with controversial material.

The film that we will show this Friday is modified from the version that was shown at the July 10th screening.   In part based on audience feedback, this film will have new scenes that shed light on the fascinating story of how the Prince William County Immigration Resolution was passed unanimously, and then significantly scaled back
less than a year later.

Please watch our disco fun movie trailer invitation:

Check it out. Meanwhile, see today's Washington Post editorial, "Prince William, a Year Later: A crackdown's toxic effects."

...To Mr. Stewart and his allies, this beggar-thy-neighbor policy is a success. In fact, it has simply branded Prince William as the one locality in the Washington area where demagoguery by elected officials has gotten the better of coolheaded public deliberation.

Ouch. The truth hurts.

The Post gets this one right: (Barbara - 7/22/2008 3:07:00 PM)
Mr. Stewart is an avid opportunist and manipulator who has an arm's-length relationship with public candor.

Sadly, he's probably thrilled with the editorial since he judges success on how often he is mentioned or pictured in the media.

I loved the trailer.  I attended many of the meetings so I see some familiar scenes.  I'll be out of town on Friday; will there be other opportunities to see the film?

Yes, we will show it again in August (EricByler - 7/23/2008 1:46:35 AM)
