Our latest Netroots Rising interview is with Arlington County Commissioner of Revenue, Ingrid Morroy. Starting in early 2006, Ingrid provided invaluable assistance to the Webb for Senate campaign, including acting as campaign treasurer and - most importantly - as official parade bullhorn operator.
Finally, Ingrid Morroy is an elected official who really "gets" the netroots. In fact, she is a blogger herself, including on the "front page" here at RK. As such, Ingrid was one of the key bridges between the "top-down professional" campaign and the huge, "bottom-up rag-tag army" of netroots supporters. Thanks to Ingrid for helping elect Jim Webb to the U.S. Senate, and thanks for those great cheers, including at least one that I won't repeat here. :)
