It's the type of scandal that could derail a presidential campaign: the candidate received preferential treatment from a bank on his mortgage, saving him oodles of money compared to the general public.
And that's exactly what didn't happen with Barack Obama, no matter how much the Washington Post wishes it were so.
If you've seen a more irresponsible piece from the Washington Post in recent memory, I'd be impressed at your googling skills. For now, let's just call this one the most embarrassing moment for the Post in recent memory.

here's a headstart: type in "Amy Gardner" :)
Agreed. (Lowell - 7/3/2008 8:39:18 AM)
Anything by Amy Gardner. Also, any Washington Post article on global warming, which insists on presenting two "sides," as if there are really two sides and not a 99.9% agreement among reputable scientists (e.g., ones not bought and paid for by ExxonMobil) about what's going on with the earth's environment.
Also, anyting about the Iraq before the invasion (Rob - 7/3/2008 11:48:31 AM)
... and pretty much after it too!
Also, anything (soccerdem - 7/4/2008 9:38:55 AM)
on their Religion page. Read the Washington Times for the truth.
