Please join us this Saturday at 10am at the home of Greg and Marion Werkheiser to kick off the 2008 general campaign with a voter id canvass in some key precincts in the West Springfield area. Turning Virginia blue this year is a definite possibility, but it won't happen unless we get out there now and find the voters we need to win. Saturday's canvass is one of the first opportunities of the general election to put the energy that's been building in our party to a good use. Please join us, details after the jump!In collaboration with the Springfield District Democratic Committee, we will be knocking doors in Springfield this Saturday to identify supporters for the Democratic ticket. Please let us know if you are coming so that we can have enough sheets and refreshments for you! Don't worry if you haven't knocked doors before- we will be happy to show you the ropes. Please bring comfortable walking shoes and your progressive enthusiasm.
