who worked all those years in the desert of politics, keepin' on keepin' on against all odds. Then there are the Deaniacs and Clarkites and others who met through meet-ups and house parties and added our people power to the Dem party local organizations, and walked the precincts, and made the phone calls. If you look at the Fairfax County party leaders now, many came out of the grassroots campaigns of 2004. The Virginia Democratic party rocks!
