Guess who is featured at number two right now - ahead of Barack Obama at number five? Yep, that's right, one Leslie L. Byrne. That is kicking serious A to appear in the number two slot on a major national Democratic contribution site. |

Second, this is even better, check out the competition on ActBlue between all four 11th district candidates. Fighting it out for last place are Lori Alexander and... wait for it... Gerry Connolly! In fact, Lori actually has more individual donors and is within a few hundred dollars of the almighty Chairman of the Board. With such pathetic donations from the community, it kinda makes one wonder where he gets his money. Anyway, Doug Denneny is solid with almost $30K - more than 10 times what Gerry is pulling.
Given that Leslie is #2 on the national chart it should be no surprise that she's well ahead of her competition. Coming in at a whopping $154K she dwarfs the other three put together. More importantly, she's one person shy of 2,000 donors - absolutely crushing Connolly's 14. 2,000 vs 14. Again, that speaks volumes about who is making donations to which camp. The people donate to Leslie and the ????? donate to Connolly. Where is all that money coming from? |
