JR:  I thought Dan's response was all arguments until the last line, which I personally disagree with.  I was an original supporter of the Iraq War, based on some of the reasons you cite, and I am very glad Saddam Hussein is gone.  However, I see ZERO connection between Saddam and 9/11, and certainly not with domestic spying.  As far as I'm concerned, Dick Cheney has disgraced this country with his behavior, including his own advocacy of torture.  For that alone, he is unfit to serve as Vice President.  In my humble opinion, of course.  Anyway, I hope you'll continue to share your opinions here.  I like a lively debate on the issues, even if it gets a bit heated at times.
