Thank you John Edwards, for your advocacy on behalf of hard working Americans. Thank you for the campaign you ran against the way business is currently done in Washington, DC. And thank you for your endorsement of Barack Obama, the next president of the United States.
P.S. I hope to see you as Attorney General in the Obama administration, helping to correct the outrages -- torture, civil liberties infringed, presidential power out of control, corporations run amok -- we've seen under John Ashcroft, Alberto Gonzales and Michael Mukasey.
"This election is about taking down these walls that divide us, so that we can see what's possible...that one America that we can build together. Barack Obama understand that to his core." - John Edwards

Steve
However, he may be needed as the "compromise" VP. Clinton will never work as the VP - the list of reasons why is nearly endless. Wrapping up a unified party at the convention is critically important.
Of course, there is no reason that I know of that says he can't have both positions.
I think he could do three jobs better than any Bush appointee could do one.
I just hope one day to see Edwards as President.
Obama for President
Webb for VP
Richardson for Sec State
Edwards for AG
Clark for Sec Def
As AG, he just might be able to staff DOJ with competent investigators and trial lawyers to go after the war profiteers and return their ill-gotten gains to the treasury. Then, at some point, it's off to the Supreme Court providing a replacement AG could be found to keep up the good work he is sure to start. Nothing like sending Roberts, Scalia, Thomas and what's his name, the other bushie, a neighbor of the "there goes the neighborhood" type.
