This is great and all... (Jack Landers - 5/2/2008 2:40:20 PM)
This is great and all, but how well known is Tim Kaine in Indiana? Is this at all useful in a real way?
nc (Adam Parkhomenko - 5/2/2008 2:43:52 PM)
I would have sent him to NC. State below, where he may be known, and could help ensure obama has a bigger win which he needs
NC's looking pretty good right now (Lowell - 5/2/2008 2:50:29 PM)
for Obama. A win in Indiana would be really sh-weet! :)
Don't Jinx It Lowell! (Matt H - 5/2/2008 3:22:53 PM)
Good point. (Lowell - 5/2/2008 3:24:53 PM)
Damn, we're going to LOSE LOSE LOSE everything! :)
Take nothing for granted (DanG - 5/2/2008 3:34:55 PM)
Wasn't it Clinton who said . . . (JPTERP - 5/2/2008 4:39:39 PM)
a "win is a win regardless of the margin"?
Good question . . . (JPTERP - 5/2/2008 4:27:20 PM)
think they probably are targeting IN because they believe that it will be the closer race.
Not sure what kind of impact it will have, but Kaine does have some ties to the heartland. Looks like they're targeting areas along the Indiana/Ohio border.
Seriously.... (GeorgetownStudent - 5/2/2008 5:13:44 PM)
Shouldn't he be here and facilitate the meetings that are going to happen between the Northern VA/Hampton Roads legislators to help produce a transportation solution?? I'm extremely grateful that he saved Dulles Rail from the grave but all the potholes everywhere are getting on my nerves.
Southern Indiana (Shawn - 5/2/2008 5:22:22 PM)
I spent some time in Southern Indiana last weekend ... given the responses I got I'd say that area will be turning out like Virginia's 9th ... hopefully the rest of the state will turn out the way the rest of Virginia did and support Barack Obama on the road to victory ... and yes, having Tim Kaine in Indiana supporting Obama is important ... he may not be John Mellencamp ... but his being there in person lets individuals know how important their vote is.
