Another great environmental action by Mark Warner in his closing weeks as governor comes with this, "a move ...to protect roadless acreage in the George Washington and Jefferson National forests." This comes not long long after Warner requested $242.5 million for Chesapeake Bay cleanup - ?the largest single contribution any state in the bay watershed has made? to Chesapeake Bay restoration. As I've said before, Mark Warner truly has a chance to be remembered as one of Virginia?s greatest environmental governors. Excellent work, Governor!
