Jimmy the Duck?

Remember Jerry the Duck, the Kaine campaign's cartoon water fowl mocking Jerry Kilgore for ducking debates with (now Governor) Kaine? Well, maybe it's time to resurrect that duck, but this time for (ex-Governor) Jim Gilmore:
Former Gov. Jim Gilmore has rejected a call by Del. Robert G. Marshall of Prince William County to hold five debates before Republican delegates choose the party's U.S. Senate nominee at a convention May 31.
"We are past the point of debates," Gilmore spokeswoman Ana Gamonal said. "Seventy-five percent of the delegates already have been elected, and they know where Jim Gilmore stands."
So, just as the Kaine campaign asked about Jerry Kilgore, why is Jim Gilmore too "scared to "get in the ring" with his Republican opponent for the U.S. Senate nomination, Del. Robert Marshall? And if Jimmy the Duck won't even debate "Sideshow Bob," how's he going to do against Mark "Most Popular Politician in Virginia and Rightly So" Warner? This should be a fun campaign.

Any word from RK yet on Levar Stoney?

Just curious. What office is Levar rumored to be considering ? (Tom Counts - 4/15/2008 7:40:40 AM)
I did read the announcement that Dick Cranwell will not run for DPVA chair next year, and I think Levar would be an excellent choice to replace Dick. But now you have my attention. Have there been rumors that Levar might be considering running for elective office - e.g., House of Degats of state Senate ?
What does Levar Stoney (Lowell - 4/15/2008 7:56:13 AM)
have to do with Jim Gilmore ducking debates with Bob Marshall? And why would you bring it up in this thread? Very odd.
