Delegate Moran:
This, firstly, is to extend my best wishes to you in your campaign for Governor of the Commonwealth.
It has come to my attention that you have retained Jerome Armstrong as your netroots coordinator.
Although Jerome is certainly qualified to hold the position, recently on his blog site, MyDD.com, he has begun to ban commentors that challenge the blog's editorial policy of support for Hillary Clinton.
Contrast this with Daily Kos, where HRC supporters do indeed take a lot of flak from the users, but are not administratively banned except in the most extreme of circumstances.
This is but a single example of this type of behavior on the part of Jerome Armstrong.
I have heard others raise the same issue. I'd hope you'd peruse this Daily Kos comment thread to learn more.
I'd also hope that you would speak to Jerome and gain an assurance that, in his capacity as your netroots coordinator, he will not engage in this type of behavior while acting on your behalf.
Again, I wish you all the best.

MyDD has a policy of not allowing other users to personally attack other users. There are many administrators on the site in charge of making sure the debate remains civil. It's not a pro-Clinton or pro-Obama site, and has about an equal number of supporters from both sides. This is a tough contest, but I'm sure its community will rally 100% behind whatever Democratic candidate is running against the Republicans in November for President, and he/she will need us all to win.

I went and looked at the user account for http://www.mydd.com/user/LibDem, and this user has not banned at all from the site. Instead of being in the "user" group, it was in a group called "anonymous". I've seen that bug before, but not sure why it happens. In any regard, users can always use the "contact us" form instead of making blogposts out on other websites.

Also, about Brian Moran. The firm I'm with has been hired to implement the overall internet and technology strategy for Brian Moran's commitee, but I'm not on staff. They'll be hiring someone that does the netroots outreach, and I'll likely help them out with getting the right person, but that won't be myself.
