I mentioned here that Dickenson County had five votes that were not counted.

The Daily Press has this:

A glitch in the machines that count ballots left 78 voters [in Gloucester] without a voice in the Nov. 8 election.

. . .

Hanover County, which uses the same equipment as Gloucester, had 63 uncounted ballots, said Barbara Cockrell, assistant secretary for elections and training at the state Board of Elections.

She didn't know the number of uncounted ballots for the entire state, but said that similar machines are used to count the ballots in 30 localities. Another 28 localities use the machines to count absentee ballots.

Get ready for a LONG day on Tuesday.  I will be camped out at the Dickenson County recount site - for five votes.  What are you doing Tuesday?  That is what I thought - go here or here NOW.

I'll be somewhere.  They haven't given me my assignment yet, but I'll be somewhere fighting for Creigh.
