Vice President Dick Cheney's wife talked tax cuts and military victory and took a shot at Sen. Barack Obama in a breakfast speech in Richmond yesterday. Lynne Cheney said Obama, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination for president, "was not speaking for me and for the rest of the people in this country" when he called for an immediate pullout of American troops from Iraq.Aw, that's a great slogan Lynne. Too bad Americans have wised up and stood up to the fear mongering Republicans. HAHA, and while that tired old line was great, this bit about the economy and taxes was even more hilarious:"Wars don't end, they are won or lost," she said.
Although the economy is slumping, it has been good during the seven years of the Bush-Cheney administration, she said. She attributed that to Bush's tax-cut policies.Excuse me but HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAA. See, in a Bush/Cheney world, "everyone" means those who make $100,000 or more a year.If Democrats gain the White House and allow the Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010, everyone will have to pay higher taxes, she said, including low-income taxpayers. The per-child tax credit of $1,000 would be reduced to $500, she added.
