Kirk Cox, Budding TV Star?

Is House Majority Whip Kirk Cox (R-Chesterfield) a budding TV star?  Alas, it does not appear that way:

...technology is a swell way to connect. So you have to hand it to Cox. He's tried to make the most of it.

But only up to a point.

See, there's also old technology available to show Cox "explaining and defending" in real time on the House floor. It's called a TV camera. But the Republican House majority, in which Cox holds the office of Majority Whip, refuses to embrace that particular technology.

On the other side of the State Capitol, the Senate does.

Anyway, don't hold your breath if you're waiting to see Kirk Cox and other Virginia delegates on TV anytime soon. Remember, this is the same Republican-"led" House of Delegates that voted earlier this year to reject recording of subcommittee votes as well as live broadcasts of House sessions to the public. Apparently, Kirk Cox et al. would rather do their business where nobody can see it.  Gee, why's that?

What happens in Richmond STAYS in Richmond. Seems that public servants who wish to avoid (public) scrutiny have something to hide. It has nothing to do with "efficiency" of operations.

Anybody that gets a chance to video any activities of interest that they want to share and even you don't know how to do it, get the video to me and I will convert it edit it and post it on YouTube or Google for you no charge... I can take it as tape, DVD, memory card, USB drive or in many cases even as a file across the internet.... using AOL's AIM file transfer I have received even complete DVDs.... it takes some time, but it can be done overnight.... just make sure it is something you did yourself or own the rights to......

I don't canvas but I do my volunteer time using a PC to help
