And as expected, the Pats blew out... huh? Say what? Well that was unexpected! So the Giants pulled a stunning upset, making the four RK readers who picked them look like geniuses. Good work.
And bragging rights (until next year) go to: HisRoc! It was close, real close, with HisRoc pulling a slight victory over yankeefan based on how close the score was:
Giants 23-17. by: HisRoc
Giants 24 Pats 20 by: yankeefan
With such 20/20 foresight, perhaps HisRoc would grace us with a prediction for tomorrow's big game?
And I've got one more non-political prediction: Snyder will hire Giants Defensive Coordinator Spagnuolo. Snyder just can't resist pretty, shiny, "it" guys, and you can't be more "it" than being the coach behind the defense that stopped Brady. As a side note, I wish football team ownership was an elected position - Snyder would have been voted out of office long ago and us Redskins fans might have a winning team.
Oh well, football season is now over. Back to our regularly scheduled political programming.
The Giant's pass rush was awesome. I really felt sorry for Tom Brady last night. But I'm glad that someone finally stopped the Patriots, with all apologies to you Boston fans. The NFC East is the toughest division in the NFL.
As to tomorrow's big game, no predictions from me. Politics is far less predictable than football.
