Cheer up! Virginians can make a difference too by just picking up the phone. Obama's campaign has set up a phone banking page for anyone to reach out to voters in key Super Tuesday states. Click the logo to get started:
Of course, if you have friends and family in Super Tuesday states that you can get to the polls for Obama, reach out to them too! Here's a list of those states.
Barack has the momentum and is closing fast on Hillary's leads in most states, even grabbing his own lead in a few. However, he still needs ever vote he can get on Tuesday to forge a stalemate with the front-running Hillary -- which would be a great victory for the underdog Obama heading into our Potomac Primary. Let's help him get to Virginia with a wind at his back.
So if you have some time and hope the next few days, please pick up the phone!
*Tennessee is a Super Tuesday state, so those of you in Southwest Virginia could visit Obama's Tennessee page for more info on how to get involved.
Here is another great opportunity to help. If you all have the time, please call Eric Welch at 703 980-5852. Eric is organizing the event below.Obama for President Visibility at Metro Stations (Community Service)
We need to volunteers to be at metro stations Monday - Friday from 4:30 - 6:30 pm to get the word out to Northern Virginians about Obama and that our turn to vote is coming up soon - February 12! Contact Eric Welch at jillandericwelch@hotmail.com or 703-980-5852 to let him know if you can help with these visibility activities (what days, what times, which metro station). He has signs, buttons, voter surveys, polling location sheets and other materials for you use. We will meet daily at JEB Stuart High School (room E99) in Falls Church Monday - Friday at 3:30 pm to give out the materials or you can meet us directly at a metro station. Just let us know which station you'll be at so we know you are there. Go Obama!
