I've been following the race in the 11th because, sadly, Cantor is so entrenched in my part of the world. I've noticed a lot of RK progressives have been supportive of Leslie Byrne, which is encouraging.
However, I was just wondering why Leslie Byrne would have a fundraiser hosted by a SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT at DOMINION (Where Global Warming Starts, of course).
What does this say about Leslie's commitment to a clean energy future? I'm no Connolly fan, but this is unacceptable. I guess I'll have to give my meager dollars to Denneny. Lowell, how can you support someone who's in Dominion's pocket from day 1?
As someone who has been named an "Environmental Hero" on both at both the national and state level by the League of Conservation Voters and the author of the first "Polluter Pays" law in Congress, I don't take a back seat to anyone on the environment or clean energy.
