SAM RASOUL RECEIVES GRASS ROOT AWARD TO BE PRESENTED IN RICHMOND

Sam Rasoul, who has declared his intention to run for the US House against Bob Goodlatte, will receive this year's grass roots award for the 6th Democratic District of Virginia.  This award is given by the State Democratic Party.

Each of the  Democratic Congressional Districts chooses its recipient for the coveted Grass Roots Award given to the person who did the most to perpetuate the goals of the Democratic Party.  On Tuesday evening, January  15th, the 6th District Board elected to give this honor to Mr. Sam Rasoul.  The award will be given to Mr. Rasoul at the award's luncheon during the Jefferson Jackson weekend in Richmond in February.

is one of three essential steps to setting Virginia on a more constructive path.  The other two are:
1) defeating the theocrats: Sideshow Bob, Cooch, Carrico, Albo, Jones,and the rest of the Neanderthals who'd take us back to the Middle Ages.
2) Making sure theocrat, Regent U.-trained, Pat Robertson-approved Bob McDonnell does not win the governorship.
