What a night!!! History was truly made as we watched Iowa acknowledge what we already knew. Barack Obama is the best candidate for the next President of the United States of America.
Last night the energy was incredible with an optimistic group of Obama supporters and some who wanted to learn about him. Del. Kenneth Alexander was gracious enough to provide us with his largest room and plenty of refreshments for all in attendance. The Virginia for Obama Grassroots leadership was in the house last night to include State Co-chair Mr. Joseph Hancock, Hampton Roads Regional Chairman Roy Tatem, Virginia Beach Chair Kelvin Sealy, Norfolk chair Curtis Anderson, and Portsmouth Chair Adonnicca McCain.

As we organized with the attendants there was plenty of networking and topic discussions on Sen. Obama's positions on various items from healthcare to taxes and the War in Iraq. This was an incredible kick off event and we look forward to growing strong all over the region and doing all that we can to win Virginia for Barack Obama.
