VA's concealed weapons statute is a "strict liability statute," meaning that it would be unlawful for anyone to ever put one in their pocket or even carry a bag from Home Depot containing a box cutter, anywhere in Virginia!
Worse, by assimilation of 18.2-308 (concealed weapons ban) listed items via 18.2-308.1 (K-12 school weapon ban), any parent with a box cutter locked in her trunk on school grounds would be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor with possible jail time of up to 1 year!
What will wild Dave think of next!
