Lee Anne Washington Running Against Pollard

White Stone divorce attorney Lee Anne Washington is the only Republican who has filed to run in the Feb. 19 special election for the 99th District House seat against Albert Pollard. Former King George Supervisor Bob Barlow and Bay Banks President Austin Roberts seemed like more viable candidates, but Dec. 31 was the filing deadline. According to her business' website, she's a good lawyer because, "I Keep Secrets." I'm no expert, but I think this race just went from "leans" to "likely" pickup for the Democrats.

"I keep secrets" is hardly a good advertisment for the main trait the public should want in an elected official. We need more transparancy in government, not less.
