From Portland to DC: A lesson on driving in the snow ...

As the DC area contemplates its first snowfall of the year, here is a taste from Portland to make us all feel better about these areas snow driving.

Mea culpa ... so far off from the special election / etc, but the video is a bit overwhelming ... especially the first car that just won't stop.

I love the people whose cars spin out of control ... then try to keep driving.  When your car does a 360, it might be a good time to:

1) Stop hitting the accelerator
2) Get out of your car
3) Push it across the ice into a parking space
4) Find local eatery
5) Nurse a diet coke until the salters/sanders get a chance to hit the road
6) Resume driving
