Let me first say I don't know Karla Hagan but based on her impressive host committee I'm sure she's an excellent candidate. But a fundraiser for the 2008 election? Already? The invitation arrived in my mailbox today.
I expect early starts to national and even statewide races, but I guess even local races are expensive these days. And it's supposed to be a competitive race for the Democratic school board nominations in Arlington. Still, it feels a little soon.
Although I don't really agree with that exact philosophy, we do need to continue formulating new winning ways.
Let's put Phil Forgit in office next week, then go blue next year in Virginia and nationally.
