Over the past year, the Kaine campaign and Raising Kaine PAC have been doing everything we can to set Tim Kaine, Leslie Byrne, and Creigh Deeds up for victory on Tuesday, November 8th. Raising Kaine canvassing teams have knocked on over a thousand doors and helped to rebuild local Democratic parties around the state. We've handed out thousands of flyers. We've sent distributed hundreds of bumper stickers and sent hundreds of hand written postcards to Democratic voters urging them to vote. We've put powerful newspaper ads in papers in NOVA, SW Virginia, and everywhere in between. But the campaign isn't over yet.
In baseball, golf, and shotgun shooting, folks refer to the "follow through." On Tuesday, we need to follow through with a powerful presence on the phone lines and at the polls. Please call the Kaine campaign office nearest you and volunteer for a shift on the phones or at the polls. Just two hours can make a huge difference. And think about it: On Wednesday, we can either party like heck, or moan and groan about what would have happened "if we'd done just a little more." I don't know about you, but I'd rather party! So let's go do it.
