An Excellent New Blog for Fredericksburg's Dems, Progressives and Liberals!!!

Dan Smolen, Chair of the Stafford County Democratic Committee, and Chris Guy, super diarist on Raising Kaine, have launched a new blog, Fred2Blue, for the Fredericksburg Regional area and I must say it looks fantastic. 

Besides, the stories that you've written so far, the things that I really like about it are:

** it links to Candidates' websites
** it links to the local governments'
  Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Spotsylvania
** it links to local committees
** it links to the "print media"
** there's a SEARCH capability
** and naturally it has a blogroll

I love it.  Guys do you think you could add an "events" area, where candidates', committees', etc. events could be posted?  I've found the DPVA's calendar to be a bit unhandy for finding events.

Congratulations, Chris and Dan, on taking the time and effort to create such a wonderful and polished blog for our area.

on the apathetic Free Lance Star's missing coverage of our canidate, Phil Forgit.

ACTION:  Fellow Virginian's would you take the time to send a LTE the Free Lance Star (letters@freelancestar.com) complaining about their lack of coverage on Forgit (or any other matter that can get this paper to represent its constituency more fairly).  While you're at it, send a letter about Forgit....let's inundate them!!!
