Dear Friends and Fellow Democrats:

I believe Ted Hontz is the best candidate to represent the First District of Virginia in the House of Representatives during the 2008 session and I ask you to support him in the First District convention.

Every knowledgeable person I have talked with, from the National to the District level, agrees that we can win this special election to fill the seat of the late JoAnne Davis if the Democratic Party presents a candidate who meets the test of maturity, experience, and credibility. Ted exudes Character, Candor and Competence and that's what this election is going to be all about.

Americans, Republicans and Democrats, are fed up with politicians and politics, frauds and phonies, greed and corruption, perceived or otherwise. They recognize from the economy to the battlefield the Last Remaining Superpower is sliding into the doldrums of mediocrity. As a result Americans are looking for demonstrated leaders tested, purified and tempered in the fire of conflict that have the credibility, courage and wisdom to challenge and change the status quo. I am convinced that Ted meets that measure and will answer that calling.
