And now, a message from Janet Oleszek:
Ken has received $175,000 from national Republicans who know that he is perilously close to losing this election; now one right-wing organization - an organization who has yet to disclose its donors - has given him $100,000 in the closing days of the campaign.Has he used this money to pay for an ad showcasing his proud record of accomplishments in the state senate on issues that are important to his constituents? Of course not. Yesteday he put an extremely negative ad on network TV stations with misleading and false attacks - and doesn't mention one positive thing about himself.
After five years as a state senator, Ken Cuccinelli does not have a single positive thing to say about his record. But then again, neither does anyone else who looks at his record.
[...]
In order to keep this ad on the air through Election Day, we need to raise another $50,000. I am writing today to ask for your help. I do not have a few organizations I can turn to every time I need help. I have relied on the help of thousands of individuals in the district, Northern Virginia, and the Commonwealth.
If everyone that received this email gave just $30, we will surpass our goal of $50,000 by a long shot. Whether you can give $30, $50, $100, or $500, every little bit helps. Click here to contribute now so that we can bring new leadership to Fairfax.
We can win this seat, but Janet needs your help. Please click here and give her the resources she needs to fight the torrent of right-wing money pouring in to Ken Cuccinelli.

She has 99 percent to go (Teddy - 10/31/2007 2:20:11 PM)Just sent a contribution. What a crock, Ken has such unlimited resources to spread his cockamainie sludge. It's ridiculous that Ken and Jeannemarie Devolites-Davis spend such incredible sums for television in a metro market for a state job that pays, what, $18,000 a year? Something's wrong with this picture. I guess their theory is you can buy anything, the public be damned.I've given more (VaNative - 10/31/2007 6:05:35 PM)This is one guy who really needs to be retired. It just played on NBC - it's good to see Janet on network.
