Now, it is easier to see the mistakes of others. So when President Bush II was elected for the first time by a majority vote, in 2004, I was disappointed but not completely surprised. Well, today we are approaching 2008 and the Republican Party has had ample opportunity since 2000 to give us their very best.
What we have gotten was a tragedy where the US Electorate was the faithful marriage partner, trusting to the point of being foolish, while the national Republicans played the ever more abusive spouse. But now the voters are increasingly coming to appreciate their circumstances and that conditions will soon be worse.
Therefore, I predict that this article describes where we are headed:
