Rumor Mill: Brownback to drop out

I'm hearing unsubstantiated rumors from Kansas that Brownback will drop out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination before the weekend.

I'm totally surprised, because I thought 2008 would be the big year for a Theocratic, anti-science, candidate.

So it goes.

Brownback has been losing ground in Iowa (Randy Klear - 10/18/2007 1:25:28 PM)
to Mike Huckabee, who has the advantage of being a true evangelical - a Southern Baptist minister, no less.  There's also the Bob Jones III endorsement for Mitt Romney, which may have been the handwriting on the wall for Brownback.
