According to the latest Washingon Post-ABC News poll, the following percentages of Americans definitely would not vote for the candidates listed:
Interestingly, the best Republican is the one the right-wingers dislike the most, Rudy Giuliani. In the same Washington Post-ABC News poll, Giuliani would lose to Hillary Clinton in the general election by 8 points, 51%-43%. Even more startling, "among those following the election very closely at this point, Clinton enjoys a sizeable lead -- 58 percent to 40 percent." So much for the "Hillary is not electable" argument; more like the Republican candidates are unelectable!

And you can count on the GOP doing Giuliani in (dsvabeachdems - 10/3/2007 9:01:16 PM)
They are in a downward spiral and he just doesn't meet the orthodoxy requirements required to put the final nails in the coffin.
pretty good for dems (Veritas - 10/4/2007 8:43:24 AM)
Its not bad for dems as 40% against is pretty standard these days. Sad the country is so divided but that is American politics. Just shows you one party is not done until the bitter end as only 20-30 percent of the vote is up for grabs
Good news for Democrats, however... (S. Becker - 10/4/2007 9:04:51 AM)
The Presidential election is not based on the popular vote, but rather state-by-state in the Electoral College. I am still very skeptical about Hillary Clinton winning any states that Kerry lost.

She will win Arkansas and New Mexico...polls have shown her ahead in Florida, Virginia, Iowa, Nevada among others...

I think she takes Arkansas, is competitive in Florida and Virginia and New Mexico. And probably Ohio, which went for Bush last time.
