I was happy to see an add on NewsChannel 8 that was against a Republican (which is a pretty rare thing, sadly), but I was unhappy with the ad in general...
Don't get me wrong, I think O'Brien is a very bad state senator who misrepresents his district and deserves to be replaced, but this ad focused on one issue: abuser fees. The ad did not have a positive message at all about George Barker. The ad did not cover any of Jay O'Brien's dozen other more important poor positions.
When we get the kind of money it takes to put ads on television, should we make sure they hit home and appeal to voters?
