The Northern Virginia edition:
Dear Friends,
Later this week we'll be sending you the first of a series of DEMPAC newsletters. We know many of you want to help Democrats win back the Virginia House and Senate in the next seven weeks, and we will help you do that. To start we'd like to introduce you to our list of Featured Candidates.
It's very important that we clarify what we mean by "Featured Candidates." It is not our intent to endorse or support any particular set of candidates - we love them all! We absolutely encourage you to get out and volunteer for or support any of the 29 state senate candidate or 66 house candidates running as Democrats this year.
We recognize, however, that most of you are looking to help in the races that need your help the most. Therefore, we are highlighting the candidates who we feel, with your help, have the greatest potential to turn Virginia Blue. By maximizing our volunteer efforts this year, we can assure that the Democrats will have a voice in a fair reapportionment of Virginia's districts in 2011.
Thought I'd post the most recent email for the RK community. It outlines the DEMPAC featured candidates lists for each of four regions. This is the prelude to our weekly volunteer newsletter, which starts later this week! The Northern Virginia edition:
