1) Diageo/Hotline (10/13-10/16): Kaine 41% Kilgore 40% among Likely Voters.
2) Survey USA (10/14-10/16): Kaine 47% Kilgore 45% among Likely Voters
3) Mason-Dixon: (10/18-10/20): Kilgore 44% Kaine 42% among Registered Voters (not sure yet about Likely Voters...has anyone seen those numbers yet?)
So, what we have here is a dead heat in the race for Governor, with everything coming down to "Get Out the Vote" (GOTV) efforts. So, if you want to see Tim Kaine elected Governor, it's time: VOLUNTEER NOW, go canvass your neighborhood, call your friends, get EVERYONE YOU KNOW to vote on November 8th. First and foremost, we need EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT and EVERY SINGLE INDEPENDENT who voted for Kerry/Edwards last November to make sure they go to the polls this November. The future of Virginia is riding on YOUR participation. And yes, it makes a big difference whether we have Governor Kaine or Governor Kilgore. It also makes a big difference in sending a message to George W. Bush, Tom DeLay, and the entire national Republican leadership.
The bottom line: with only 16 days left until the election, let's all get moving and GOTV!!!
