The standout, at this point, is Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.). He took in more than a third of the total cash raised by the class. Perhaps more interestingly, he went entirely local on his contributions, spreading $19,500 among 17 Virginia Senate and Delegate candidates in a bid to flip control of the General Assembly to Democrats.

He also raised about $14,000 for four other worthy candidates using Act Blue in addition to monies directly distributed by Born Fighting PAC (not to mention he has done countless fundraisers in person all over the state)
