There is an interesting thread on the war crimes issue over at Daily Kos today.

Some observers outside of the media mainstream are beginning to raise serious questions about the commission of war crimes. One example cited by the Daily Kos blogger is Nat Hentoff at the Village Voice.

We need to keep in mind especially the precedents established by the first three counts in the indictments and ultimate convictions by the Nuremberg Tribunal:

(1) Conspiracy to Wage Aggressive War

(2) Crimes Against Peace, including the launching of an aggressive war

(3) War Crimes, that is, acts contrary to acceptable usages and against the provisions of the Hague and Geneva conventions

It appears that the Bush/Cheney team hits three for three.
