Not the Whole Truth (trentabarton - 8/28/2007 6:46:30 PM)
You should post the other results for Kansas where Clinton looses to all three.  Half stories often negate everything your trying to accomplish

Among 502 registered voters in Kansas:
Clinton 40%, Giuliani 54%
Clinton 44%, Thompson 49%
Clinton 45%, Romney 46%

Just my thoughts-

Romney is the Governor of Massachusetts, not Kansas (snolan - 8/28/2007 6:59:52 PM)
I don't think the point was that Democrats were leading Republicans in Massachusetts, that should surprise no one... just like Kansas going the other way is no surprise.

I think the interesting point is that even Romney, who was elected governor of Massachusetts in a state-wide election (fairly recently I presume) is not doing well today.  That is interesting.

What is the source? (snolan - 8/28/2007 7:02:36 PM)
Trent - where is that Kansas data from?  It just occurred to me how strange it is that Giuliani is stronger than Thompson in Kansas!!!

Also it is astonishing to me how close Clinton is to any Republican in Kansas!  Is that not the state that shoots Democrats on sight?  (just kidding)

If Democrats win Kansas (Lowell - 8/28/2007 7:55:19 PM)
...we will win all 50 states.  Kansas is one of the reddest of red states.  What's your point again?

Clinton leads Giuliani, Romney, (Lowell - 8/28/2007 8:03:43 PM)
Thompson and McCain in Missouri.

Missouri is a classic swing state in Presidential elections. The candidate who wins the Show-Me State's Electoral Votes generally wins the White House.

Looking ahead to Election 2008, Senator Hillary Clinton attracts between 46% and 48% of the vote when matched against four top Republican hopefuls. She "leads" all four Republicans by single digit margins suggesting that Missouri voters will see more than their fair share of television commercials in 2008.

Lookin' good!

To know them is not to love them... (Kindler - 8/28/2007 8:51:24 PM)
So Mitt Romney's own state rejects him 2-1, while Giuliani can't even get his own kids to support him?

It's a sad time to be a Republican -- which means that we will hopefully soon be entering a much happier time for the country!

No Wonder (Harry Landers - 8/28/2007 9:30:36 PM)
Mitt Romney has been doing his best to insult Massachusetts and its citizens and to distance himself from the Commonwealth ever since he started running for President. Should he be surprised that residents of the Bay State aren't supporting him?
