Thanks to everyone who has already helped out by volunteering or contributing financially.
First, we just had a poll come back and, as Lowell pointed out a few days ago, it's got some great news. While Pat Herrity, my opponent, is pretty well known it does not translate into support or votes. When asked "if the election were held today" Herrity has a small lead that is right at the margin of error. After hearing bio's on both candidates (taken directly from each candidates website) and our message and then being asked again who they supported, the difference in support between dropped to less than one percent, literally tied. Second, we just launched our brand new website which, at least in my opinion, looks pretty darn good.

Third, we are having an event in Vienna that will allow all our supporters to come out to a fun night, including a special donor level for Young Democrats. It will be at Neighbors Restaurant in Vienna on Tuesday, August 28th at 7PM. The event is being hosted by Supervisors Cathy Hudgins and Linda Smyth, Vienna Town Council Member Edythe Kelleher and Delegate Steve Shannon.
Donor levels are:

$25 Young Democrat
